Overseeing the Harper Regime
Welcome to the MapleLeaks website! MapleLeaks: Overseeing Canadian Democracy - One Page at a Time. Founded in 2011, the
MapleLeaks.com was created in the aftermath of the 2011 Canadian Federal General Election. Our agenda is to act as a conduit to preserve democracy in Canada:
for the people by the people. Please bookmark the site as we have big plans. MapleLeaks will be updating daily - and in many cases, hourly. We see ourselves
as a movement that blends elements of WikiLeaks, MoveOn.org, and the US-based Tea Party Movement. So, we have a lot of ground to cover, and a lot of work ahead of ourselves
including the following:
Providing a secure and safe haven for whistleblowers to submit documents that expose wrong doings by the Canadian Government. In the coming months, we will be
implementing a military grade encryption mechanism that will allow submitters to submit files – anonymously as we will not log IP addresses, or any identifying
information.
Amassing editorials and offsite links which expose wrong doings by the Canadian Government.
When funds are sufficient, run ads (print media, radio, and/or television) in key Canadian markets.
Setup functionality to accept donations: to cover legal expenses, operating expenses, and advertising expenses.
Recruiting MapleLeaks Board Members.
