Overseeing the Harper Regime

Welcome to the MapleLeaks website! MapleLeaks: Overseeing Canadian Democracy - One Page at a Time. Founded in 2011, the MapleLeaks.com was created in the aftermath of the 2011 Canadian Federal General Election. Our agenda is to act as a conduit to preserve democracy in Canada: for the people by the people. Please bookmark the site as we have big plans. MapleLeaks will be updating daily - and in many cases, hourly. We see ourselves as a movement that blends elements of WikiLeaks, MoveOn.org, and the US-based Tea Party Movement. So, we have a lot of ground to cover, and a lot of work ahead of ourselves including the following:

  • Providing a secure and safe haven for whistleblowers to submit documents that expose wrong doings by the Canadian Government. In the coming months, we will be implementing a military grade encryption mechanism that will allow submitters to submit files – anonymously as we will not log IP addresses, or any identifying information.
  • Amassing editorials and offsite links which expose wrong doings by the Canadian Government.
  • When funds are sufficient, run ads (print media, radio, and/or television) in key Canadian markets.
  • Setup functionality to accept donations: to cover legal expenses, operating expenses, and advertising expenses.
  • Recruiting MapleLeaks Board Members.

MapleLeaks is not authorized by any candidate or political party.

MapleLeaks is a non-registered non-profit organization which primarily focuses on education and advocacy regarding important Canadian political issues with the primary role to monitor Canadian democracy.
